CONNECTION BETWEEN SIENA RAILWAY STATION AND THE CERTOSA MEETING CENTRE:
'ARRIVING IN SIENA 24/09/2009:
1. There will be a shuttle bus from
the train station in Siena to the Certosa running at approximately 15.00, 16.00 and 17.00; further connection
can be activated if you need it. There will be a charge of 5 euro per person. The shuttle bus will be waiting close
to the Taxi parking (go out the station and to the right)
2. There is a single taxi company in Siena and they will take
you to the Certosa for 20 euro, so for four sharing this will cost the same as the shuttle bus. Since we are hiring the shuttle bus,
we should appreciate it if you investigate its availability before using a taxi.
SHUTTLE BUS DURING CONFERENCE: For delegates
that are not resident at the Certosa, the shuttle bus will run from the bus station at the top of Siena (Piazza Antonio Gramsci) at 8.
30 am on 25th and 26th Sept, with return trips from the Certosa to Siena at 19.30 and 22.00. There will be a charge of 10 euro for a return trip.'
